Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 June 2026
This policy explains what personal data the website thetaai.gr collects, how it uses it and what rights you have, in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — Reg. EU 2016/679) and Greek law 4624/2019.
1. Data controller
θita ai — Maria Bartzoka
Contact email: hello@thetaai.gr
2. What data we collect
We collect personal data only when you provide it voluntarily:
- Email address — when you fill in the form to receive the free guide or our updates.
- Contents of your message — when you email us (e.g. to book a session), we keep the message and your address in order to reply.
We do not collect sensitive data and we do not build user profiles.
3. Tools that run in your browser
The site's interactive tools (e.g. the EU AI Act test and the AI usage policy generator) run entirely on your device. Whatever you type is not sent, not stored, and never seen by us.
4. Why we use it & legal basis
- To send you the guide you requested and occasional updates — based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
- To respond to contact requests — based on legitimate interest and pre-contractual steps toward a possible engagement (Art. 6(1)(b)/(f)).
5. Where it's stored — Third-party providers
We do not sell or rent your data. We share it only with providers that enable us to operate:
- GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.) — website hosting (servers outside the EU, under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses).
- Formspree — processing and storage of the guide form submissions, i.e. your email address (servers outside the EU, under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses).
- Zoho Mail — managing company correspondence (hello@ / maria@thetaai.gr).
6. Cookies & traffic analytics
The site does not use tracking or advertising cookies. For traffic statistics it uses cookieless analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) — recording aggregate data (visits, pages, referrer, country) without cookies and without identifying visitors. No cookie consent banner is required.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your email address for as long as you remain subscribed or until you ask us to delete it. Contact emails are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and any resulting engagement.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability of your data, as well as to withdraw consent at any time. For any request, write to us at hello@thetaai.gr and we respond within 30 days.
If you believe your rights are being violated, you may lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr).
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the last change.
